Guest Comments: Wonderful Stay at the Glynn House    https://glynnhouse.com/guest-comments  The reviewer’s from Delaware selected the Glynn House Inn for their honeymoon. Every bride and groom want their honeymoon to be absolutely perfect. After originally booking three evenings, extending for a fourth and adding a fifth day; we felt confident that their experience at the Inn had met and exceeded their expectations.

Many of our return guests select the Jefferson Deluxe Suite again and again. The suite is extremely spacious offering a separate sitting room and bedroom, huge double whirlpool tub, romantic fireplace and all the modern amenities visitors require. Morning coffee, provided before 7.30 am each morning, is a great way to start the day. Delicious, cooked to order breakfasts – mentioned in the review – provide the fuel required for those planning active, recreation filled days. Our reviewers discovered that New Hampshire’s White Mountains and Lakes Region provide a wide range of hiking opportunities as well as a variety of rock climbing options. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with others. We look forward to future anniversary visits.

“The Glynn House Inn is a fantastic place to stay, especially if you are looking for a romantic getaway. My wife and I stayed there the week of October 20th, 2014. We were originally scheduled to stay for three nights but after our arrival quickly decided to extend the stay, first one night and then another. We stayed in the Jefferson Room and loved every minute of it. We had traveled to the White Mountains for our honeymoon and had intended to spend the week climbing at Rumney. However, the weather was not with us and constant rain kept us off of the rocks. But rain in the Whites also means that the many small creeks and rivers will be full to bursting creating spectacular cascades and waterfalls. So we did short day hikes all week, and the Glynn House was the perfect base camp.

A typical day would find us drinking coffee in bed in front of the fireplace as the morning light filters in through the windows. After coffee we would make our way downstairs to be greeted by Glenn, who made pleasant small talk as he seated us for breakfast. After bringing out fresh fruit and muffins, Glenn would take our orders and make sure we had something to do for the day. If we had lacked ideas, Glenn was full of them and happy to point us in an appropriate direction to ensure that we enjoyed our stay both in and out of the inn. The main course for breakfast then arrives, cooked by the delightful Pam. All of the options on the menu are delicious; although, if you disdain sweet breakfasts I would recommend staying away from the very yummy pancakes, French toast, and waffles. After breakfast we would return to our room, get ready for a hike, and depart. As the weather was chilly and rainy we kept the hikes short, which meant more time back at the room relaxing in the whirlpool tub with the gas fireplace roaring. After some relaxing we would go out to dinner at a local restaurant. Glenn is very helpful in selecting a place to eat and is happy to make reservations for you at establishments that require it. After dinner it was back to the Glynn House and straight into the tub until bedtime. We could not have stayed at a more relaxing, cozy, and elegant establishment.

We thoroughly enjoyed every day and night we spent at the Glynn House Inn. There are many fine touches the make the Glynn House wonderfully personal and homey, from the decor to the complimentary food and beverages. If you are looking for a place to stay that offers comfort and personalized service, we would highly recommend the Glynn House Inn!” Room Tip: We stayed in the Jefferson Room and would again! Stayed October 2014, traveled as a couple
