“A Romantic Valentine Treat!” https://glynnhouse.com/guest-comments  The reviewer’s gracious closing sentence warrants repetition – “If you want a charming, romantic getaway at a classic New England Inn surrounded by the beauty of all New Hampshire has to offer in any season make your way straight to the Glynn Inn!”. Our 1895 Victorian home truly an ideal romantic destination – fireplaces, elegant furnishings, scrumptious food and double whirlpool baths in six luxurious suites. The surrounding countryside provides amazing scenery and a host of recreation options during every season of the year. The reviewer requires a gluten / dairy free diet. She’s not alone. We have a full gluten free menu and routinely send guests with celiac disease to local restaurants that offer a wide range of safe options. We cater guests with other dietary restrictions too. We just ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice, so we can be prepared for you. Finally, the reviewer mentions our application of ‘green practices’. We’re serious about protecting the environment, and increasingly find that our guests are too. Thanks for noticing! Thanks too for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers. We look forward to seeing you again.

“New at being empty nesters, my husband and I decided to treat ourselves to a romantic Valentine’s getaway. I have Celiac Disease and must eat gluten and dairy free. It is not always possible to find hosts who thoroughly understand and appreciate the importance of this request. Glenn, Pam and Ingrid were very well informed concerning the demands of my illness and most graciously accommodated me. Breakfasts choices were plentiful and servings were substantial. Everything always tasted delicious. Glenn gave us two excellent recommendations for where we could have safe gluten-free dinners nearby. He was 100% accurate in his suggestions. We had two to the most romantic and delicious dinners at the places he recommended. The Inn is a beautiful piece of New England history, well preserved and immaculately kept. The gas fireplace in the sitting room and in the bedrooms add a delightful ambience and warmed us during our stay when mother nature offered arctic temperatures. Glenn is a true connoisseur of life. His enthusiasm for history, art, travel, food and wine make him an engaging and interesting conversationalist. He has lived all over the world. His wife Pam with her charming London accent used to run a cooking school in Singapore. Ingrid must have been a star pupil as her cooking is flawless. On our way out we had the delightful opportunity by chance to meet their two pet dalmatians who proved their good manners and inherent friendliness and welcome of their masters! If you want a charming, romantic getaway at a classic New England Inn surrounded by the beauty of all New Hampshire has to offer in any season make your way straight to the Glynn Inn!
