during a busy race weekend. Days before her scheduled arrival, she advised that her husband had had a medical emergency. As a result, they wouldn’t be able to come. We willingly agreed to try and rebook the room. Unfortunately, reservations placed through an Online Travel Agent (OTA), as this one was, must be cancelled directly by the customer. The lady experienced multiple problems dealing with a large ‘bureaucracy’. Once we were made aware of the situation, we intervened and ultimately helped the customer secure her refund. How very kind of the reviewer to take the time to tell others. Thank you!
“We were due to stay at the Glynn House Inn for a race weekend but due to a critical medical emergency, we had to cancel so I can’t review the actual Inn. Nevertheless, I wanted to say that the Innkeepers Glenn and Ingrid worked with me to rebook the room and get through the snafu of remote-access hurdles in order to obtain a refund through hotels.com.
