Our evening social hour remains a guest favorite. Many guests find the social hour provides a terrific opportunity to meet other like-minded visitors and share travel experiences. Having a glass of wine, or two, plus some delicious cheeses, is a nice way to unwind after a ‘tough’ day exploring New Hampshire’s spectacular White Mountains and Lakes Region. The reviewer and his wife visited during the July 4 weekend. The small town of Ashland, our home, has an amazing fireworks display every year as well as a ‘classic’ New England Independence Day parade. Thanks for taking the time to share your holiday weekend getaway experience with others.
