from Connecticut appreciated our beautiful Victorian home. They found the innkeepers to be friendly and helpful, which is precisely what all our innkeepers endeavor to be. Our twelve entree option, multi-course gourmet breakfast was well received too. Thank you! However, some of the comments in the review are simply incorrect….

Restaurants: Two restaurants are situated within walking distance of the Inn. Five more are less than five minutes drive. Four more are eight minutes away Seven additional restaurant options are less than 15 minutes from the Inn.
Ashland is in the geographic center of New Hampshire. It’s an old mill town. Visitors who enjoy outdoor recreation, historic sites, ‘tax free’ shopping and charming country drives are spoiled for choice. All of the aforementioned are within minutes of the Inn.
Green Features: The New Hampshire government has recognized the Inn’s ‘Eco Friendly’ practices, which include recycling, water conservation, energy conservation, composting, etc. We’re concerned about our environment and do everything possible to protect it.
Double whirlpool tubs: Double whirlpool tubs are available in all six suites and in one bedroom. Photos and room descriptions indicate whether a double whirlpool tub is available.

“This is a beautifully kept property (in the middle of nowhere!). The innkeepers are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is really delicious with some very creative offerings. The room we stayed in was quite small and we were very surprised to see our shower stall nearly at the foot of our bed! I know … hard to believe. Pictures on the internet show beautiful tub, etc. but apparently that is NOT in every room.So ask ahead of time. The idea of the tub fit in with our planned romantic weekend. But no luck. At these prices there should at least be a frosted shower door for some privacy. Be prepared to drive at least 10 miles for anything you plan to do in this area, including restaurants. Not a quaint town at all.” Room Tip: Don’t rely on internet pictures. Call and ask for specifics.
