the Inn and the local area. Our breakfasts, the jacuzzi tub and elegant decor all appear to have scored ‘home runs’. The local area provides a dozen great dining options. The surrounding area offers a host of activity options – outdoor recreation, train and boat rides, historic sites, outdoor adventure, ’tax free’ shopping and lots more. Our convenient location makes the Inn a perfect stop for visitors heading to or from Quebec Province. We look forward to seeing the reviewer and her son again soon. “My husband, son, and I stayed there for a night in Aug, while we were visiting the Polar Caves. The owners – Pam and Glenn – met us with a handshake and smile, which is something, considering our condition after climbing for a couple of hours through those caves (we were grubby to say the least). And they gave us an upgrade! An amazing suite on the top floor, with a jacuzzi tub (my son loved it), pull out couch, large bathroom, and bedroom with a fireplace (which we obviously didn’t need in August, but still). It was clean, quiet, comfortable, and the decor was really lovely. The breakfast in the morning was delicious – Belgian Waffles, pancakes, and ham – and there was an interesting story about the large, curved glass picture windows. They were so nice, so friendly, gave us great tips on where to go for dinner, and had lots of suggestions for area activities. It seems like it’s a well-loved place, as there was a wedding party staying on the other floor, whom we saw at breakfast (it was so quiet, I didn’t hear a peep all night). We actually can’t wait to go back, stay there again (we were on our way further north to Montreal, and it was a one-night stopover), for a longer time so we can explore the area. Glenn has itineraries up on his website that are great for people like me, who hate planning. Ha! Anyway, we had a great time, the Inn was gorgeous and comfortable, and our hosts couldn’t be nicer.
