Guest Comments: “Comfortable & Quaint Visit”!
https://glynnhouse.com/guest-comments We’re pleased the reviewer from Portland enjoyed her stay at the Inn. Thanks too for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers. The reviewer notes that the Inn is a charming Victorian home. It is! The main building and carriage house were each built in 1895. The exterior of the main structure looks much as it did 121 years ago. Public rooms and guest accommodation all reflect Victorian features. The wraparound porches are very popular during the warmer months. Our innkeepers all enjoy our guests and do their best to provide an exceptional experience. We’re disappointed to read that the central air conditioning was a bit chilly. Wish you’d told us. We would have moderated the temperature. Thanks again for selecting the Glynn House Inn for your conference base.

“We had a nice stay at Glynn House! Charming victorian home, wrap-around porch, and inviting foyer/sitting room. The Innkeepers were kind, accomodating, and approachable, with a genuine interest in conversation to get to know their guests. Coffee and tea was made available by 7:30 am each morning, in a common area on the second floor (accessible just steps from the room), which was a really nice touch! The only suggestion I have is in regards to the air conditioning in the room. We did not find a dial inside our suite (Taft Room) to adjust the temperature, and found it very chilly upon returning at 9:30 pm on the last evening of our stay. We like it cool at night to sleep, yet wanted the option to moderate the temp. We did not think to mention it to the Innkeepers upon departing, whom I’m sure would have accommodated our temp preferences if we had. We would repeat our visit, though I’m not sure we’ll be back to the area soon. Booked this Inn for a 3-day herbal conference in Newfound Lake, NH (30 minutes away and this was the closest B&B).” Stayed August 2016, traveled with friends
