Great food should always be part of everyone’s holiday experience. Our wine and cheese social hour is popular too. Guests enjoy having the opportunity to unwind and meet other travelers. Board games and an extensive DVD library provide indoor entertainment options. Finally, the Inn’s location in the heart of the Granite State’s White Mountains and Lakes Regions, provides the perfect base for visitors who want to explore the best of New Hampshire. “We just stayed at the Glynn House Inn for an anniversary retreat– what a great decision! We stayed in the Washington Suite, up in the top of the turret, with a wonderful sitting room, comfortable queen bed, and large bath with double whirlpool bath, large shower, and separate private toilet. Breakfast each morning was a real treat, with fresh fruit, muffins, coffee or tea, juice, and a made to order main course. We enjoyed wine and cheese at 5pm, caught some breezes while reading and chatting on the front porch, and had a fabulous time going on day trips, benefitting from both Ashland’s central location and Glenn’s wonderful knowledge of the area. The Inn had copies of restaurant menus, and Glenn was able to secure us reservations and give us directions and time estimates (sometimes better then Google) and as he got to know us, make additional recommendations for things we might like to go see. There are board games available, a large DVD library, and many of the tables have built in games such as checkers available. No matter where we looked, the Glynn House Inn made us feel welcomed and comfortable. We left feeling as if we not only had a wonderful vacation, but had made new friends.” August 2017 Traveled as a couple
