We’re pet friendly, but this doesn’t mean that canines dominate the property. Our pet friendly guest rooms are all situated in the Carriage House. Our two Dalmatians love meeting guests but only do so when invited. We’re delighted the reviewer’s stay made the forthcoming family separation ‘just’ a wee bit easier. “We came to Ashland for a overnight to see family before they start a new journey moving to Ireland. It’s always bitter sweet having to say Good bye. Your happy.. your sad.. you will miss them. After the roller coaster of emotions at the days end it was nice to come back to the Glynn, to sit by the fire, absorb and relax. From the moment of our arrival we felt welcomed into the Heidenreich’s Home. We were met by Glenn who was busy doing yard work removing leaves. He has a quick wit and a bank of knowledge. He quickly helped us settle in and made us feel right at home. From the moment we walked in you could tell this is a well appointed establishment with a lot of thought put into the care and comfort of those they welcome. I would also point out that although this is a pets friendly establishment, every effort was made to make sure our stay was free of pets, for my comfort do to allergies to animal saliva and fur. This included Glenn making sure their own pets were restricted from the common areas as well. Which I can’t thank you, Glenn enough for that effort. Having these allergies is a real complication for me especially since we are farmers with animals :)! We missed meeting Pam and Ingrid and hopefully when we return sometime in the future we will get to make their acquaintance.
