Visitors often say our fireplaces – in 12 of 13 guest rooms – are romantic. They also keep the room cozy on during a cool autumn evenings. Wedding guests often have time to explore the local area. We’re glad the reviewer appreciated some of our excellent local restaurants and had time to experience some of our delightful attractions too. “Came here for a family wedding. Couldn’t have picked a more appropriate setting. This converted large traditional New England home is well maintained. Our room was cozy with the gas fireplace keeping us comfortable at night. Period furnishings add to the ambiance.The breakfast selection was generous and outstanding in quality. The hotel proprietor offered broad knowledge of local attractions and great service. Many fine restaurants a short drive away as well as numerous local attractions.
