We will not only welcome your furry friend but we've also created a special package that will make their experience as wonderful as yours. Whether you've checked in for work or play, what could be more wonderful than having your favorite furry friend around during your stay?
At Check-In, your dog's welcome packet includes a toy, pet treats and clean-up bags. In your room, your dog will find a water bowl, food bowl and floor mat. Canine beds are provided too, in different sizes, to ensure your four-legged friend gets a good night's sleep too.
We have three suites and one bedroom that are pet friendly.
Adams: This charming suite is on the second floor of our Carriage House. You and your dog will reside in a quiet second floor suite. Your dog may need to pass humans before reaching the front door.
Eisenhower: This delightful suite features a private porch with an exit for dog and humans off the bedroom. Dog beds can be placed in the sitting room. The suite is on the first floor of our Carriage House.
Harding: This spacious second floor bedroom is located in our Carriage House. Your dog may need to pass humans before reaching the front door.
Roosevelt: This extremely spacious suite has an exit from the sitting room to the wrap-around porch and gardens. Dog beds can be placed in the sitting room. The suite is on the first floor of our Carriage House.

Your innkeepers will help identify special pet activities & services including hiking trails, pet friendly parks, pet specialty stores plus local veterinary & grooming services for a pet spa day.
Hiking trails - Dogs and their humans enjoy a
huge number of hiking options.
The Rattlesnake trailhead - 15 minutes away - offers a series of dog friendly trails and easy climbs.
Franconia Notch State Park - 25 minutes drive - has over a dozen dog friendly trails. The only trail, which isn't dog friendly, is the Flume Gorge.
Greeley Ponds and the Lincoln Woods Wilderness Trail - 25 minutes drive - off the Kancamagus Highway scenic Byway - offers several moderate dog friendly hiking options
The Welch-Dickey Loop Trail - 25 minutes - off Upper Mad River Road in Waterville Valley - provides another terrific hike for humans and their favorite four-legged friends.
Boating
You can take your best four-legged friend on a six or ten mile paddle on the "Pemi" River. Canoes provide a great home for floating dogs. The river scenery is spectacular.
Take your dog on a cruise around Squam Lake. Rent small aluminum runabouts or roomy, comfortable pontoon boats.
Shopping
Dogs like ice cream during the warmer months too. Why not take your four-legged friend to Ben & Jerry's or Town Docks in Meredith?

Our PET POLICY is designed for everyone's convenience and protection. We welcome well-behaved dogs but do so with the following expectations. No more than 2 dogs per room. Pets may be left in guest rooms without 'their' humans during meals and for longer periods - if crated - subject to prior agreement with the innkeepers. Dogs are not permitted in public areas and must be on a leash when on the property.
