Guest Comments: “Visiting New Hampshire” https://glynnhouse.com/guest-comments Three private secondary schools are situated within easy reach of the Glynn House Inn. Parents routinely use the Inn as a base – most return again and again. We understand that many are on tight schedules, or have early school meetings, and we do our best to accommodate them. The reviewer – who’s the CEO of a substantial financial organization – is a case in point. Parents from Holderness, New Hampton and Tilton Schools return again and again. The reviewer, similar to many previous guests, appreciates our quality breakfast served at separate tables in the Victorian dining room. The layout makes it easy for guests to just focus on one another or to engage other travelers. Towels, soaps and bed lines – again as the reviewer notes – are all top quality. Our 13 guest rooms include a range of layouts. All, except one, have fireplaces. Suites also include double whirlpool baths, some have separate sitting rooms. We’re delighted the reviewer appreciated the Glynn House service experience too. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with other travelers, and giving the Glynn House a five star review!

“The Glynn House Inn is a very comfortable, well appointed bed and breakfast in the Plymouth area of New Hampshire. As a point of reference, I generally stay at well appointed hotels and fall on the “spoiled” end of the spectrum when it comes to accommodations. I travel to this area frequently to visit my daughter who is a student and this is one of the nicest places in terms of comfortable rooms, bedding and bath facilities. This “excellent” review should be helpful in comparing this to other options in the area, but not in comparing it to the four seasons in NYC. For a point of reference, the Common Man Inn in Plymouth would fall somewhere in the “average” to “very good” range in terms of comfort and is on par with the Glynn House Inn in service. The Glynn house is larger that other bed and breakfasts that I have stayed in. This means that at breakfast, you’ll sit at your own table instead of a single communal table, and they provide table service with a nice selection of options, delivered quickly to your table. I like this setting as well as meeting new people at breakfast, so if a little more space is your preference, this is a great choice. For you coffee snobs, I found the brewed coffee to be good and strong – a very important thing for me. My breakfast was excellent although I had lunch plans and didn’t order a lot. My interactions with the proprietor and all the staff were wonderful, and I found them to be warm, caring people who genuinely want you to have a good stay. I was compelled to heavily tip the room cleaning crew who did an excellent job and I greatly appreciated their energy. The house is very well maintained, warm and comfortable in the winter and the bath soaps, towels and shower in my room were excellent. The bath facilities vary by room so if you’re booking far enough in advance, check out the options for your best fit. There are a couple of items that are different than many bookings so here’s a heads up – When I booked online, I didn’t get a confirmation of a booking and instead got a notice saying they would get back to me to confirm my stay. I’ve not seen this before but they emailed me the next day confirming the room. Also, I automatically pull all my travel into a Tripit phone ap and this did not populate in the ap, nor did I ever bother to check to see if it did. So I showed up in Ashland unprepared and not knowing how to find the place. I pulled the confirm email and there was no address in this email. The directions got me to the street but not to the place itself. This caused me a flash of anxiety but I found the place easily. It’s a small town and all I needed to do was to drive up the street a little.” Stayed January 2016, traveled solo
