“Lovely old style privately run Inn with great service. Would highly recommend. Very interesting & charming mid 1800s country house in small town. Well situated for exploring NH lakes and White Mountains National Park. Informative & personable host with good supply of local tourism information and maps. Delicious and varied homemade breakfast choices. Sadly missed out on the complimentary nibbles and wine in the evenings as out enjoying the scenery too late! Some good restaurants in walking distance for the evening. Thoughtful touches and good quality toiletries in the guest room. Comfortable bed and quiet location. Initially thought it odd to have the shower in the bedroom but got used to it and it didn’t make the room steamy as anticipated.”Stayed October 2024 Traveled as a Couple
