select the Inn because it’s the perfect venue for a romantic getaway. Others stay because of the abundance of local recreation options. Relaxation is the third reason travelers come to the Inn. We live in an increasingly ‘busy’ world. Taking time out to relax, reflect and be ‘inspired’ is important. Many thanks to Joyce for taking the time to share her experience with other travelers. “When I visited the Glynn House in July, I wasn’t seeking inspiration, but I found it. The Glynn House is what inspires aspiring poets such as myself to write about charming bed and breakfasts in quaint towns that let you take a step back in time, if only for a few moments. With plenty of porch space and an over-sized hammock and cozy rockers to sit in while reading a good book (perhaps a book of poetry) or enjoying a cup of tea, flowers that put a smile on your face, and songbirds that put a song in your heart, this charming bed and breakfast is good for the soul!! Each room is named after a president; I highly recommend the room I had: the Lincoln apt. Plenty of space and privacy await you, if you choose this roomy efficiency apt. with a king bed, kitchenette, and outdoor grill. A small town is within walking distance from the inn, which offers 2 museums, a small sitting/walking park, and some wonderful gift shops with antiques and vintage items, and homemade goodies (the maple fudge is DELICIOUS!). There is also a small grocery store in town for added convenience. Also within walking distance is an excellent Mexican restaurant called La Catrina. You have to try the veggie taco salad. With gracious hosts that are ready to serve you an incredible breakfast and make you feel pampered without being intrusive, why wouldn’t you want to stay at this lovely inn-it’s poetry waiting to be written.
