“My boyfriend and I had the most amazing stay at Glynn House Inn for the new year. Parking was very close to the main entrance. There were only a few other guests during the nights we stayed and we couldn’t hear them. Our room was very clean, the shower had fantastic water pressure, and the fireplace was lovely. For those wondering, the fireplace comes on automatically based on thermostat settings, so if the room temperature dips below the set temperature then the fireplace will light on its own. All the settings can be modified and you’ll be given a sheet with all pertinent information when you check in. Glenn, one of the innkeepers, was a wonderful host. He had plenty of information about local restaurants and activities, and was overall very pleasant to talk with. He also maintains suggestions on the inn’s website, which was a great source of information as well. Breakfast was available between 8:30 and 9:30am with a standard menu, in addition to daily specials. One of the specials was savory, and the other was sweet. The specials didn’t appear to repeat for the few days we were there, so if something catches your eye, go for it! After placing our selections, we were also offered plates of fresh fruit, a muffin, and coffee and/or juice. I cannot eat a lot in one sitting and Glenn offered a small ziploc bag so I could take my muffin with me, which I found very thoughtful.
