Boston enjoyed their three evening, autumn getaway. The Coolidge Bedroom is particularly spacious and has lots of windows providing plenty of natural light. Our breakfasts generate ‘rave’ reviews once again. Many travelers would suggest ‘great’ food should be an integral part of every getaway. We’re delighted to see that our Dalmatians received a mention. They are adorable. Well behaved Dalmatians? Even the best canines are naughty sometimes. “The Glynn house was a real treat to stay at! The house itself is a traditional Victorian style with hardwood floors and a classy interior. Our room (the Coolidge) was clean and comfortable. The innkeepers are very friendly and accommodating, and they provide all sorts of nice (and free!) amenities fresh homemade cookies every evening, sherry, nuts, an extensive DVD library, and a Keurig machine with hot cocoa and coffee. Glenn is super friendly and a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area and is always quick to provide recommendations on dining and nearby attractions. Pam’s breakfasts were excellent and something we looked forward to each morning: the menu included standard breakfast fare, from pancakes, Belgian waffles, an egg sandwich, poached eggs with pesto, etc. We tried many of the breakfast options during our three night stay and really enjoyed everything we sampled. Regardless of your menu selection, your breakfast came with a plate of fresh fruit, a homemade muffin (new flavor every day!), coffee/tea, and juice. Again, the breakfasts were a real treat and something we looked forward to each morning. And if all these reasons weren’t enough, their twin Dalmatians Ember and Blaze will light up your heart. They are super well-behaved dogs and absolutely adorable. We wanted to take them home with us!
