“This was our first time staying at an Inn so we didn’t know what to expect. However, I’m happy to report we couldn’t have been happier. The Inn is absolutely gorgeous, even tho the outside does look a bit run down. That’s a classic example of ” don’t judge a book by its cover”. The Inn keeper is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, funny and hospitable. Hospitality is definitely his thing and it shows. We stayed in the Washington suite and it was perfect. Everything was clean, quiet and charming. Not to mention staying in the turret was pretty cool too. This Inn definitely has a lot of history tucked inside. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed having a small menu to choose from. Being served on a table that was elegant and dressed to the nines was a bonus and made us feel special. We’d go back again in a heartbeat if the opportunity presented, it was perfect for our #25th! We’d also recommend this Inn to others as we whole heartedly feel you’d enjoy. I only wish we had been reminded of the cheese and wine hour upon arrival as we had forgotten and missed it 🙁 PS….our stay was during the COVID19 summer and the Inn was doing all they could to help keep everyone healthy and safe.” Stayed July 2020, Traveled as a Couple
