The best birthday turned engagement weekend! I have a love for old homes and could not get over the charm of this B&B. Glenn greeted us and was incredibly helpful with recommendations for the surrounding area for things to do, places to eat and sights worth seeing. We stayed in the Jefferson Suite on the third floor and the room was marvelous. Everything was very clean, very comfortable. There was a large selection of DVDs we could choose from, and a small closet of games downstairs we could help ourselves to. We stayed for two nights. We were served muffins and the flavors differed each morning. The food was DELICIOUS! They have a set menu to choose from and then two rotating specials each day; one savory and one sweet. I ended up getting a breakfast sandwich on Portuguese roll one morning, and poached eggs with fresh pesto the next morning. My parents called to send a bottle of champagne and someone knocked on our door and left it chilled in a bucket with two champagne flutes. Glenn was kind enough to gift us two Glynn House coffee mugs to help us remember our special weekend. I would recommend this place to anyone that wants to be close to doing things outdoors, wanting to celebrate something special, or really wanting a wonderful stay in a beautiful inn.
