to have exceptionally high standards. After 17 years working with Japanese companies in Japan, we appreciate how important attention to detail and quality are to Japanese people. The couple that wrote this review – rough idiomatic English language translation provided for those who don’t read or speak Japanese – had similar expectations. We were delighted to receive a five star review. We’re very pleased they enjoyed the multi-course gourmet breakfasts served at separate tables in our Victorian dining room. We’re thrilled that our service exceeded their expectations. We’re also look forward to their return visit to enjoy the spectacular autumn colors.

“My wife and I stayed at the inn in May, 2015. Glenn, the inn owner, has enormous overseas experience including Asia and made a Japanese couple`s stay very comfortable. He is kind and attentive to any needs of guests. Our morning started with coffee/tea he leave at the door foot of our room. Pancakes and french toast he serves on the first floor were tasty. My wife enjoyed them very much! Pleasure of the inn is to see the mother nature of New England and take a walk along a lake. I would like to revisit this inn in fall when the leaves of trees change their color beautifully.”

日本人でも快適に過ごすことができました。とにかく親切で困ったことがあると何でも対応してくれました。朝は部屋の前にコーヒーか紅茶の準備がされ大変美味しかったです。朝食は1階のテーブルでパンケーキやフレンチトーストなどこれもどれも美味しくいただき妻も喜んでいました。近隣にはニューイングランドの自然が広がり湖畔の散歩などが楽しめます。紅葉のきれいな時期にまた是非訪れたい場所です。
