New Hampton and Tilton – have used the Glynn House Inn as a base for years. Visit objectives include school assessments, sporting events, parent weekends and graduations. Parents rarely have much discretionary time available. But, they universally want clean and comfortable surroundings; delicious food and often some flexibility around breakfast hours; and hospitable and efficient innkeepers. The reviewer’s observations accurate describe our Monroe Deluxe Suite – lots of wood, fireplace, access to a wraparound porch and a comfortable bed. She mentioned breakfasts – served in our elegant Victorian dining room. During the foliage season, a large Maple tree, provides a palate of wonderful colors. Our delicious Belgium waffles and Poached Eggs Pesto seem to have been very well received too. We look forward to seeing the reviewer and her son again.
“The Glynn House was like a home away from home. We were very fortunate to claim a room at the last minute. My son and I were visiting Holderness School. Glynn and Pam welcomed us to our gorgeous clean room with access to the lovely porch, gas fireplace, very large tub and private bath. We were offered wine and cheese, complimentary soft drinks, DVDs and given suggestions for dinner. The bedding was so comfortable! I am very sensitive to sounds and smells, everything was quiet and clean. In the morning, coffee and hot coco were delivered to our door. It was so cozy to enjoy our morning together in front of the fire.
Breakfast was an experience. The dining room was soft elegant with a spectacular view of foliage. Glenn was charming as he served us delicious home made muffins, the menu offered a nice variety; my son had fabulous Belgian waffles. I had parmesan crusted toast with pesto poached eggs, unbelievably delicious. Neither of us wanted to leave, but we had to! We can’t wait to visit again.” Stayed October 2014, traveled with family
