Guest Comments: The Glynn House Inn: Just A Great Place To Visit     https://glynnhouse.com/guest-comments Why do the reviewer, his wife and their dog Terp return to the Inn again and again? They have lots of choices. They’re a discerning couple. They have high standards. Transparently, the Glynn House experience is meeting and exceeding their expectations. Chuck’s review mentions food. Like many guests, they rave about the Inn’s breakfasts. They’ve also discovered that there are many great local dining choices for lunch and dinner. Hospitality is another key reason Chuck and Dianne. Guests prefer to stay in environments where the innkeeper truly wants guests to feel welcome. Our five pet friendly rooms are another reason. Guests with dogs continue to tell us that it’s very difficult to find quality dog friendly accommodation, at least until they discover the Glynn House. New Hampshire’ palette of seasonal choices is the final reason I’ll highlight. New Hampshire is a great place to visit throughout the year. There’s something for everybody. Thanks for mentioning some of our ‘green features’ too. We’re serious about protecting our environment. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with other travelers.

“People ask us when is the best time to visit the Glynn House inn. We have been there to see the leaves turn color in the fall, for the delight of the lakes in the summer, for Thanksgiving and in the dead of winter. You can enjoy all the seasons at The Glenn House. The reason? The Inn and its owners, Pam, Ingrid and Glenn Heidenreich are great people and wonderful hosts. After the first five minutes of meeting them you feel as if you have been the best of friends since grade school. They provide a warm and relaxing atmosphere in the main Inn and in the Carriage House (our favorite!) Known as The Lincoln Suite, a picture of Old Abe hangs in the kitchen. When we are in residence, we take down Abe and put up Chuck & Dianne (The Ramsey Suite!). The suite has a living area with working fireplace, a full kitchen and dining area, bedroom and bath AND, in the summer, there is a gas grille and outdoor table and chairs for a cookout. With a grocery two blocks away, this is the best! Speaking of THE BEST, just wait until you have Pam’s home cooked breakfasts. The list of favorites is way too long for this review but we are devotees of Pam’s Cheesy Eggs and her Home Made Belgian Waffles. All breakfasts are served with a meat, your choice of toast, homemade muffins, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. We begin our diets on the way out of town, just as we head sough on I-93. So think of something to celebrate! Hop in the car and head to New Hampshire. Call for reservations but you probably can’t get the Lincoln Suite because Chuck, Dianne and Terp (did I mention that the Carriage House is pet friendly???) are probaby staying there. And one more thing, we have counted 9 great restaurants within 25 minutes of the Inn. The Inn has menus for all of them and Glenn will be happy to make reservations for you. And when you come, we will probably see you at breakfast. I am the one eating Pam’s Cheesy Eggs.” Room Tip: We prefer the suites in the Carriage House as they are very private and quiet. Green Features: Glenn has replaced all the light bulbs with CFL’s or LED’s. Stayed April 2016, traveled with family
