Couples love spending time together The reviewer stayed in the Monroe Deluxe Suite. The floors, fireplace surround, double whirlpool surround and window frames are all white oak. The four-poster bed, double whirlpool bath and fireplace all contributed to ‘the’ perfect romantic setting. There’s a door the leads directly onto the wraparound porch. Early morning tea and coffee are placed adjacent to the door each morning – prior to 7.30 am. We look forward to seeing the reviewer and her husband’s return – perhaps with the new arrival in tow. “My husband and I just got back from a weekend babymoon and birthday weekend away. We stayed in the Monroe Room. Despite reviews about noise from the kitchen and sitting room, we experienced nothing of the sort. The room included a two-person jacuzzi tub, large four-poster bed and a fireplace that made for quite the romantic getaway location. The breakfasts every morning were delicious (best we’ve ever had at any bed and breakfast), and the tea/coffee delivery in the AM before breakfast was a surprising touch.
